Minister of Energy Inaugurates KAPSARC School of Public Policy

The Minister of Energy and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC), Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, has inaugurated the Kingdom’s first specialized educational institution for higher studies in public policy.

Prince Abdulaziz inaugurated KAPSARC School of Public Policy (KSPP) today during the launch of the Human Capability Initiative (HCI) Conference held in Riyadh under the Patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Chairman of Human Capability Development Program Committee.

During his speech at the inauguration ceremony, the Minister of Energy expressed gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for their unwavering support and empowerment of the energy and education sectors.

He emphasized that the vision of the KSPP is to develop the knowledge and skills necessary for coming generations to shape future policies locally and globally.

The school will offer continuing education opportunities as part of professional development programs for individuals in various government institutions throughout the Kingdom, Prince Abdulaziz added.

The KSPP building will operate entirely on energy from solar panels, leveraging the latest advancements in green technology and contributing to the Kingdom’s goal of achieving net-zero emissions, he noted.
