Eighteenth Al-Baha Honey Festival launched at Prince Hossam Park

Under the patronage of Al-Baha Governor Dr. Hossam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor Fahd bin Saad bin Abdullah bin Turki inaugurated the 18th Honey Festival today at Prince Hossam Park in Al-Baha.

The deputy governor praised the festival’s display of products that reflect the high quality of honey for which Al-Baha is famous. He emphasized the importance of supporting the beekeeping and honey production sector and enhancing opportunities to market local products, contributing to the goals of sustainable agricultural development.

Fahd bin Maftah Al-Zahrani, director general of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture’s Al-Baha branch, said the patronage of the governor and the deputy governor’s inauguration of the festival demonstrate the support and attention given to the region’s agricultural sector and its products. He noted that Al-Baha honey is one of the region’s most distinguished products nationwide, enjoying a strong reputation for its quality and variety.

At the end of the ceremony, the deputy governor honored the organizations participating in and supporting the festival in recognition of their contributions to its success. This year’s edition features 45 exhibitors showcasing their products and expertise in honey production and related industries.
