The King Abdulaziz Public Library is a leading cultural institution dedicated to preserving Islamic and Arab heritage.

It houses a vast collection of rare books, manuscripts, photographs, and historical documents.

The library's strategy focuses on preserving this heritage through specialized exhibitions. Over the past four decades, the library has organized numerous exhibitions both within and outside the Kingdom.

These events showcase valuable artifacts such as manuscripts, rare coins, and historical copies of the Quran, aiming to connect future generations with their rich cultural heritage.

Recent exhibitions have highlighted various aspects of this heritage. In 1445 AH, the library featured rare handwritten copies of the Quran, showcasing a variety of scripts and decorations.

In December 2024, an exhibition on camels was held in cooperation with Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University to promote national identity and the cultural role of camels.

The library also hosted an exhibition of rare Arabic poetry manuscripts. It paid special attention to the art of Arabic calligraphy with an international exhibition, which featured over 200 books and various works by prominent calligraphers. Additionally, an exhibition on Islamic coins was held, displaying historical methods of writing on currencies.

The library continues to participate in national and international cultural events, sharing its unique collections to enhance scientific and research communication with scholars and enthusiasts worldwide.
