
Jazan University has joined the International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP), a strategic step that enhances its role in global innovation systems and supports its mission to build a sustainable knowledge economy rooted in research, development, and entrepreneurship.
Jazan University President Dr. Muhammad bin Hassan Abu Rasin emphasized that the university’s membership in IASP represents international recognition of its growing role as a key driver of innovation.
He described the membership as a promising opportunity to expand cooperation and foster the exchange of knowledge and expertise with more than 150 global entities.
Abu Rasin noted that joining IASP will help broaden the university’s international network, strengthen collaboration with leading science parks and innovation zones, and support knowledge sharing in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship.
IASP builds integrated, sustainable innovation communities worldwide by connecting key players, promoting collaborative projects, and fostering the exchange of best practices within science and technology ecosystems.
