The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources has supported the inauguration of new automated production lines for personal care products under the "Made in Saudi" logo in Jeddah First Industrial Zone.

This initiative aligns with Vision 2030 and the National Industrial Strategy.
The project’s total investment amounts to SAR60 million, focusing on the development of automation systems and the establishment of new production lines to enhance local manufacturing capabilities and meet the demands of both Saudi and global markets.

Officials from Unilever Saudi Arabia highlighted that the company currently leads the global personal care market with a market share exceeding 40%, and aims to strengthen this position by expanding local production at its Jeddah factory.

Market forecasts project substantial growth in the sector, increasing from $27 billion in 2024 to $42 billion by 2032.

Additionally, the company aims to achieve net-zero emissions across its operations by 2030 and across its entire value chain by 2039, demonstrating a strong commitment to sustainability while supporting long-term industrial growth in the Kingdom.

The new production lines at Unilever Saudi Arabia’s Jeddah factory utilize fully automated systems, achieving peak efficiency in blending, cooling, filling, and packaging operations.

This expansion strengthens the Kingdom's position as a leading industrial base regionally and globally, contributing to quality job opportunities for Saudi citizens, in line with the objectives of the National Industrial Strategy.
