US Chamber of Commerce highlights Vision 2030 achievements with 50 firms

The US Chamber of Commerce has released a new publication showcasing the achievements made under Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, highlighting the commercial impact of more than 50 member American companies supporting the Vision’s programs and targets. This has been achieved through leveraging American expertise, technology, and investment, while strengthening trade and investment ties between the United States and the Kingdom.

Steve Lutes, Vice President for Middle East Affairs at the US Chamber of Commerce, said that American companies have contributed for decades to the Kingdom’s growth through investment, technology transfer, and expertise. He noted that the partnership has expanded to include sectors such as energy, manufacturing, finance, digital technologies, artificial intelligence, sports, tourism, and infrastructure.

He added that the relationship between the two countries goes beyond commercial transactions, centering on transformation and innovation. He affirmed the Chamber’s commitment to further strengthening business ties that support innovation and contribute to sustainable and inclusive growth for both nations. Lutes also announced that an updated edition of the report will be released to coincide with the Future Investment Initiative conference in Riyadh.

Vision 2030 achievements and the impact of US companies

For her part, Saudi Ambassador to the United States Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan highlighted, in a video message, the goals achieved by Vision 2030 in its tenth year. She noted that non-oil activities now account for more than half of the Saudi economy, unemployment fell from 12% to 6.4% in the first quarter of 2026, and home ownership rates rose from 47% to 66%.

She pointed out that the Kingdom welcomed 123 million tourists last year, surpassing its target of 100 million ahead of schedule. Princess Reema emphasized that American companies have been partners in the transformation journey from the outset, and the participation of over 50 US firms in this publication reflects their role in building new industries, advancing education and healthcare, training youth, and investing in projects.

Strengthening partnership and looking ahead

This publication also provides US Chamber members an opportunity to showcase their support for Vision 2030 programs and targets, and to outline their priorities for the next phase amid promising opportunities in the Saudi-US partnership.
