
His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, held a phone call on Saturday with President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian.
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince expressed his condolences and sympathy to President Pezeshkian, the Iranian people, and the families of those killed as a result of the Israeli attacks on the Islamic Republic of Iran, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince also reiterated the Kingdom’s condemnation and denunciation of these attacks, which undermine the sovereignty and security of the Islamic Republic of Iran and constitute a violation of international laws and norms.
The Crown Prince stressed that these attacks have disrupted ongoing dialogue aimed at resolving the crisis and have hindered efforts to de-escalate and reach diplomatic solutions.
He emphasized the Kingdom’s rejection of the use of force to resolve disputes, advocating for dialogue as the fundamental principle for resolving differences.
For his part, President Pezeshkian expressed his gratitude to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for his sincere sentiments toward Iran and the Iranian people, appreciating the Kingdom’s stance in rejecting and condemning the Israeli aggression.
He also extended his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for providing for the needs of Iranian pilgrims and facilitating services for them until their safe return home.
