Saudi Arabia’s main stock market index closed on Tuesday down by 134.01 points, ending at 10,544.10 points, with trading values totaling SAR 5.2 billion.

According to the daily economic bulletin from the Saudi Press Agency, 305 million shares were traded. Shares of 55 companies rose, while 199 companies saw their shares decline out of all listed firms.

Shares of Takween, Tabuk Agricultural, Americana, MIS, and Solutions recorded the highest gains during the session. In contrast, shares of Gaz, Al Rajhi, SMC Healthcare, Saudi Energy, and Entaj posted the biggest losses. Price changes ranged from a 9.98% increase to an 8.45% decrease.

In terms of activity, Americana, Petro Rabigh, Al Rajhi, Al Ahli, and Bahri were the most actively traded companies by volume and value.

Meanwhile, the parallel Saudi market index (Nomu) also closed lower, dropping 107.41 points to end at 21,769.81 points, with trading values of SAR 13 million and over 1.7 million shares exchanged.
