The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has upgraded its field guidance system for foot patrols, providing instant multilingual translation services to worshipers, Umrah performers, and visitors.
During Ramadan, an integrated guidance system features 60 points throughout the Grand Mosque, overseen by 360 qualified field guides. These guides assist visitors and enhance the flow of movement within the mosque.
The revamped system, equipped with instant translation and multilingual signage, has resulted in a 30% increase in beneficiaries and improved response times without disrupting crowd movement.
Foot patrols play a key role in directing worshipers from the outer courtyards to indoor facilities while maintaining order. The comprehensive system uses smart multilingual signage and color-coding to guide visitors to entrances, prayer areas, and essential services.
The authority is committed to further advancing field guidance and translation services, enriching the spiritual experience during Ramadan and throughout the year.
