Saudi Vision 2030 has reshaped economy and society over past decade, analyst says

Economic analyst Dr. Nasser Al-Qur'awi said the past ten years have seen major transformations in Saudi Arabia’s economy and society, stressing that Vision 2030 has brought sweeping changes to all aspects of life in the Kingdom.

Speaking in an interview with Al-Ikhbariya radio, Al-Qur'awi added that both Saudi citizens and residents have been affected by the achievements of the Vision’s targets. He noted that Saudi society has largely embraced and engaged with the Vision, whether by accepting its goals or participating in their implementation.

He explained that the most significant changes have been in the transformation of Saudi society, which, according to him, has become more productive, advanced, and globally competitive. He pointed to record-breaking achievements and international indicators announced by global institutions and platforms that reflect Saudi Arabia’s progress.

Al-Qur'awi noted that what has been accomplished in the past decade, despite the relatively short time compared to the lifespan of development and economies, demonstrates the scale of transformation in the Kingdom. He emphasized that progress has touched every aspect of life.

Al-Qur'awi also pointed out that the changes have not been limited to the economy, but have extended to education, healthcare, and various areas of public life. He believes these developments have boosted productivity and led to higher levels of satisfaction and acceptance.
