Real Estate Registry launches title registration for over 46,000 properties in Riyadh and Qassim

The Real Estate Registry announced today the launch of initial title registration for 46,538 properties across various neighborhoods and governorates in the Riyadh and Qassim regions, as part of a new phase to document ownership and enhance transparency in the real estate sector.

The registry explained that the registration covers several neighborhoods in Riyadh, including Al-Madina Al-Jadida and Rumaythan in Al-Hariq, the Munifah plan in Al-Bajadiyah, Al-Hazm in Al-Hilwah, as well as multiple neighborhoods in Al-Ruwaydah, Riyadh city, Al-Sar, Badai Al-Udhayan, and Hawtat Bani Tamim. It also includes properties in Al-Artawiyah, Al-Jamash, Al-Kharj, Al-Dawadmi, Al-Qasab, Tumair, Huraymila, Sajir, Shaqra, Afif, and Nafi.

In the Qassim region, registration begins in the King Abdullah, Al-Quds, Al-Rabwa, and Al-Nahda neighborhoods in Dakhna, parts of Al-Nahda and Al-Ufuq in Al-Ammar, neighborhoods in Uqlat Al-Suqur and Al-Batin, as well as properties in Daria and Al-Mithnab.

Registration details and process

The Real Estate Registry called on all property owners in these neighborhoods to register their properties via the Real Estate Registry platform or mobile application by the end of Thursday, December 10, 2026. Owners can verify if their property is included through the online platform (https://rer.sa/).

The registry stated that the selection of neighborhoods was based on specific criteria, adding that it will gradually announce additional regions and governorates to be included in the title registration process across the Kingdom in the coming periods.

The Real Estate Registry emphasized the importance of registering within the specified period to benefit from its services and avoid penalties and fines stipulated in the Real Estate Title Registration Law. It encouraged owners to contact the customer service center at 199002 for inquiries about the procedures.

Enhancing transparency and reliability

The registry added that it continues to work on building a comprehensive and unified record of all real estate data in the Kingdom. Each registered property will receive a unique property number and a title deed, including precise geographic location, owner information, property descriptions, and records of all real estate transactions.

It also clarified that real estate zones are determined according to approved standards, and the National Company for Real Estate Title Registration Services is responsible for establishing and managing the registry using geospatial technologies and integrated digital platforms, thereby enhancing transparency and trust in the sector's data.
