European gas prices fall 2% as oil declines

European gas prices fell by about 2% alongside a decline in oil prices, according to Asharq.

Data from the London Stock Exchange on Thursday showed that average gas prices in European markets rose by 20.3% in September compared to August, reaching $897.1 per 1,000 cubic meters. The increase was attributed to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East and disruptions to maritime navigation in the region.
