Digital Government Forum 2023 to Begin on December 19

The Digital Government Authority will host the second edition of the "Digital Government Forum" on December 19 and 20. Themed "Our Future Now," the event will feature the participation of various government agencies, ministers, experts, specialists and decision-makers in the field of digital government at both local and international levels, as stated in a press release by the authority.

The forum's key objectives include showcasing government agencies' achievements, sharing success stories, fostering networking opportunities for digital leaders, exchanging experiences, building partnerships, discussing challenges and future directions of digital government, exploring cutting-edge technical practices and highlighting investment opportunities in the Kingdom.

According to the release, the Governor of the authority, Eng. Ahmed Alsuwaiyan emphasized that the upcoming Digital Government Forum will build upon the remarkable success of its first edition in 2022. The event aims to sustain efforts, celebrate government agencies' rapid and advanced achievements, showcase their accomplishments, and promote the adoption of international standards for digital government, which includes enhancing digital services to ensure greater efficiency, effectiveness, beneficiary satisfaction, and improved quality of life.

The forum will feature engaging dialogue sessions and workshops focused on digital transformation.

Highlights include launching new digital products and services, announcing winners for the 2nd edition of the Digital Government Award in Saudi Arabia, and winners for the fifth session of the Digital Government Award for GCC countries.

Additionally, the forum will announce the Digital Transformation Measurement Results (Qiyas, 2023), which aim to improve government agencies' performance, accelerate digital transformation, and align with Saudi Vision 2030 targets.

"The Digital Saudi Exhibition will accompany the forum to showcase the most prominent digital services and products provided by the private sector, in line with the strategic directions of the digital government towards a promising digital future," the release said.
