Saudi Arabia’s main stock index closed on Tuesday at 11,068.65 points, rising by 35.74 points compared to the previous session, with total trading value reaching around SAR 2.9 billion.

According to the daily economic bulletin from the Saudi Press Agency, about 160 million shares were traded on the market. Shares of 148 companies advanced, while 101 companies saw declines.

Al-Masafi, Banan, Wafrah, SASCO, and Al Jouf posted the highest gains today, while Ladan, Riyadh REIT, Armah, Naseej, and Kingdom Holding recorded the steepest losses. Price changes ranged from a 7.41% increase to a 5.91% decrease.

In terms of trading activity, Al-Dawaa, Saudi Steel Pipe Company, Saudi Kayan, Saudi Chemical, and Ladan were the most actively traded by volume. Al-Dawaa, Al Rajhi, Petro Rabigh, STC, and Saudi Aramco led in terms of traded value.

Parallel market index declines

Meanwhile, the Saudi parallel market index (Nomu) closed down by 47.14 points at 21,739.24 points, with trading value at SAR 15.6 million and more than 4.3 million shares traded.
