Wadi Makkah Technology holds workshop on building business models

Wadi Makkah Technology Company, the investment arm of Umm Al-Qura University, organized a workshop titled "Building a Business Model" in Makkah as part of its efforts to support entrepreneurial knowledge and develop the skills of entrepreneurs and startup owners.

The workshop aimed to enable participants to create comprehensive business models that help turn ideas into scalable and sustainable projects. Topics included an introduction to business models, methods for understanding customers and identifying their needs, and defining the project's value proposition.

The workshop also covered strategies for building customer outreach channels and managing customer relationships, helping project owners identify target segments and develop products and services that meet market demands.

Additionally, the workshop addressed how to determine revenue streams, identify key resources required to operate the project, plan operations and activities, as well as define cost structures and partnerships, ultimately guiding participants to develop a complete vision for their business model and integrate its components.

The workshop aimed to provide participants with practical knowledge of business model fundamentals, assist them in thoroughly evaluating their ideas and projects, and help identify strengths and opportunities for development, thereby improving project readiness and competitiveness.
