Ministry of Industry processes 788 chemical clearance requests in August 2026

The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources announced it processed 788 requests for chemical clearance services in August 2026, as part of its efforts to enable industrial investment and provide comprehensive services to support the growth and sustainability of industrial establishments.

In an official statement on its X platform account, the ministry clarified that the processed requests included 732 for the clearance of non-restricted chemical imports and 56 for permits to import restricted chemicals, noting that the approved requests covered 2,284 items.

According to the statement, the chemical clearance service allows industrial investors to request permits or licenses to import or export chemicals used in their facilities, with applications submitted via the “Sanaei” platform. The service aims to ensure the timely and streamlined clearance of chemicals for industrial establishments, facilitating investors’ access to materials through entry points.

The ministry added that the chemical clearance service contributes to boosting industrial output by developing and simplifying procedures for obtaining clearance for chemicals used in production, automating these processes within the sector’s digital services platform, and enhancing digital support services for industrial investors.
