Minister of Commerce Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, who is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Foreign Trade, met on Sunday with Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism of the Kingdom of Spain Reyes Maroto, in the presence of the Governor of the General Authority for Foreign Trade Abdulrahman bin Ahmed Al-Harbi.
During the meeting, Al-Qasabi stressed the importance of strengthening economic ties between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Spain, benefiting from the commercial opportunities in light of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, raising the level of trade exchange between the two countries, and encouraging the establishment of joint projects.
The Minister of Commerce stressed the importance of exchanging visits between the private sectors and holding trade fairs that would contribute to introducing commercial opportunities, establishing joint projects and exchanging experiences and information in all fields between the two countries.
