Key Takeaways
AIAl Awali Real Estate Company has announced its participation in the Saudi Real Estate Exhibition in London, which will be held in the British capital from August 2 to 4, 2026.
At the event, Al Awali will present its real estate development experience and project portfolio to visitors, investors, and those interested in opportunities in the Saudi market.
The exhibition holds particular significance amid recent changes to regulations governing non-Saudi ownership of property in the Kingdom, which have opened wider opportunities for international investors to enter the market under approved frameworks. This is expected to attract new capital and boost the growth of Saudi Arabia’s real estate sector.
Suleiman bin Rumaih Al Rumaih, CEO of Al Awali Real Estate Company, said the Saudi real estate market now welcomes international investors, thanks to evolving regulations, expanding opportunities, and a diverse range of real estate products. He noted that the new rules on non-Saudi property ownership are a significant step that broadens the market’s appeal and allows investors to make informed decisions in a transparent regulatory environment.
Al Rumaih added, “Our participation in London puts us directly in front of British and international investors, allowing us to showcase the projects and opportunities available in the Kingdom.”
He explained that investors seek markets with strong growth potential, developers with proven track records, and products that deliver investment value—all of which the Saudi market offers today.
Al Rumaih said that the Kingdom’s major projects and the growth of new cities and sectors are driving diverse demand for residential, commercial, administrative, and hospitality properties, encouraging developers to create projects that meet the needs of a wider range of investors and buyers.
He emphasized that Saudi Vision 2030 has brought about a clear transformation in the size and nature of the market, with the real estate sector now more closely linked to economic and tourism growth and urban development. He expects international investor interest in the Saudi market to increase as the regulatory environment continues to improve and more projects and opportunities are launched.
Riyadh stands out in Al Awali’s portfolio as one of its main markets, with six projects in the capital comprising more than 1,339 units and over 287,000 square meters of space. Off-plan sales in Riyadh exceeded 1 billion riyals (SAR) in 2024 and 2025.
Over more than 15 years since its founding in 2011, Al Awali Real Estate has built a diverse portfolio of projects across several regions of the Kingdom.
The company has signed more than 80 projects and developed over 15,000 real estate products, with a total project value exceeding 16 billion riyals, and operates in more than seven Saudi cities.
Its portfolio includes residential, commercial, administrative, hotel, and mixed-use developments, as well as projects in partnership with key sector entities such as the National Housing Company (NHC). This reflects its expertise in developing residential compounds, towers, business centers, and hotel and commercial projects.
Al Awali’s projects also include Al Awali Hills, Rabwa Al Awali, and Al Awali Rise Makkah in Makkah, as well as the Akam Makkah Hills project in partnership with NHC. Its developments also extend to Taif, Buraidah, and Jazan.
The Saudi Real Estate Exhibition in London aims to reach British investors and introduce them to Saudi real estate products. Two-thirds of the exhibition hall will be dedicated to the Saudi zone, with only five Saudi developers participating in the program, each allocated a 50-square-meter booth.
