The Al-Mithnab date season, held alongside the 'Sukkariyat Al-Mithnab Al-Hamra' festival, is witnessing vibrant marketing activity that reflects the diversity of agricultural production in Al-Mithnab governorate. The event showcases more than 70 varieties of local dates, enhancing the presence of local products in the market.

The seasonal date market, hosted at the central fruit and date market, brings together producers, marketers, and buyers. The event is organized and overseen by the local office of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, which helps facilitate sales, auctions, and overall market efficiency.

Organizational efforts to support farmers and marketers

Tamim Al-Aboudi, director of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture office in Al-Mithnab, said the office continues its organizational and regulatory work to monitor the flow of dates into the market, ensure compliance with regulations, and maintain product quality.

Al-Aboudi emphasized that these efforts support farmers and marketers, provide an organized marketing environment for visitors, and help strengthen the position of local products.
