The main Saudi stock market index closed lower on Thursday, falling 11.62 points to end at 10,908.06, with total trading value reaching approximately 4.3 billion riyals (SAR).

According to the daily economic bulletin from the Saudi Press Agency, 258 million shares were traded. More than 124 companies saw their share prices rise, while 133 companies closed lower.

Shares of Raydan, Petro Rabigh, Kingdom Holding, SISCO Holding, and Retal led the gainers during the session. Meanwhile, Al Kathiri, AMAK, Sinad, Walaa, and Tawuniya were among the top decliners. Price changes ranged from a 10.00% increase to a 10.00% decrease.

In terms of trading activity, Americana, Al Kathiri, Petro Rabigh, Saudi Aramco, and Alinma were the most active by volume. Saudi Aramco, Al Rajhi, Petro Rabigh, Alinma, and Al Ahli led in terms of trading value.

Parallel market index declines

Meanwhile, the parallel market index (Nomu) closed down by 153.07 points at 21,515.75, with a trading value of 11.4 million riyals and a volume of 1.3 million shares.
