National Center for Vegetation Cover unveils four sustainable investment opportunities in Al-Jouf

As part of efforts to strengthen partnerships with the private sector and promote nature-based tourism, the National Center for Vegetation Cover and Combating Desertification has launched four investment opportunities across several national parks in the Al-Jouf region.

In a statement on its X platform account, the Center said these investment opportunities aim to empower the private sector and expand its role in implementing development projects with lasting environmental and economic impact. The initiatives are designed to develop, protect, and sustain vegetation sites, enhance the efficient use of natural resources, and strike a balance between economic growth and conservation. The Center added that these projects will support environmental sustainability, improve quality of life, create added value for local communities, and contribute to the national economy.

The Center noted that the investment opportunities in Al-Jouf include a diverse range of activities, most notably eco-tourism, rural lodges, and various events and activities. These initiatives aim to develop the national parks and establish them as attractive natural destinations for visitors from within Saudi Arabia and abroad.
