Eastern Province offers 459 new investment opportunities

The Eastern Province Municipality has announced more than 459 new investment opportunities across cities and governorates in the region, aiming to boost municipal investment, empower the private sector, and support economic development in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

Municipality spokesperson Faisal Al-Zahrani said the new opportunities include 162 permanent and 297 temporary projects, covering sectors such as tourism, entertainment, commerce, industry, transport, infrastructure, as well as sports activities, festivals, and seasonal events.

Al-Zahrani added that the municipality continues to enhance its investment system through the digital "Furas" platform, which streamlines investment procedures and increases transparency.

He also noted that the percentage of municipal asset investment has exceeded 95%, and that the municipality manages more than 7,000 investment contracts with revenues surpassing SAR 2.2 billion.
