Energy Ministry signs MoU with Modon for gas compression station in Dammam

The Ministry of Energy signed a memorandum of understanding today with the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (Modon) to establish a natural gas compression and distribution station in Dammam's Third Industrial City.

The agreement aims to provide compressed natural gas services in Dammam's First Industrial City, Al-Ahsa's First Industrial City, and neighboring factories. Gas will be delivered to targeted industrial facilities via tankers, enhancing the efficiency and reliability of natural gas supply and supporting the energy needs of the industrial sector.

The memorandum was signed on behalf of the Ministry of Energy by Assistant Minister for Development and Excellence, Engineer Ahmed bin Mousa Al-Zahrani, and on behalf of Modon by its CEO, Engineer Majid bin Rafed Al-Arqoubi.
