Saudi Al-Suhaili Group signs MoU for integrated poultry projects in Syria

Saudi Arabia’s Al-Suhaili Group and Syria’s Al-Droubi Group have signed a memorandum of understanding with the Syrian Ministry of Agriculture on the sidelines of the Damascus International Fair. The agreement aims to establish integrated, model projects to develop Syria’s poultry sector and its related value chains.

The memorandum was signed by Syrian Minister of Agriculture Bassel Al-Suwaidan, Al-Suhaili Group CEO Saad bin Abdulmohsen, and Al-Droubi Group Chairman Dr. Muslim Al-Droubi.

The MoU seeks to develop a comprehensive system for the poultry sector, aiming to boost production efficiency, stabilize output, reduce costs, support breeders, and enhance value chains. The initiative is expected to strengthen food security and ensure sustainable production in Syria.

This move is part of broader efforts to enhance cooperation and investment in the agricultural and food sectors, leveraging technical and investment expertise to develop high-quality projects that support and sustain local production.
