Saudi aviation chief visits Farnborough International Airshow 2026 in UK

Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej, President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, visited the Farnborough International Airshow 2026 in the United Kingdom, accompanied by vice presidents and CEOs from companies operating in Saudi Arabia's civil aviation sector.

Al-Duailej and his delegation toured the exhibition, currently taking place at Farnborough Airport, which is considered one of the world's largest gatherings for the aviation and aerospace industry.

The visit included stops at the booths and pavilions of leading global manufacturers, where the delegation reviewed the latest technological advancements, innovations, and smart solutions in civil aviation.

During the tour, Al-Duailej examined a range of advanced projects and programs shaping the future of aviation, including advanced air mobility (AAM) solutions, environmentally friendly and sustainable technologies, as well as digital innovations, autonomous aviation systems, and space technologies.

On the sidelines of the event, Al-Duailej held a series of bilateral meetings with leaders and executives from major public and private companies participating in the airshow to discuss prospects for cooperation, exchange expertise, and explore opportunities for strategic partnerships across various fields of aviation and air transport.

He also discussed with company representatives ways to exchange knowledge and localize modern technologies, highlighting major investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia's civil aviation sector under the Aviation Program, which aims to drive growth, innovation, and set new sustainable standards for aviation safety and environmental protection.
