Saudi ministry unveils new investment opportunities for livestock and honey production

The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture has announced new development and investment opportunities across several regions of the Kingdom, aiming to support the livestock sector, enhance self-sufficiency in red meat and fruit, and increase local honey production.

The ministry stated that the opportunities include a project for breeding, fattening, and producing red meat on plot number 31 in Sakaka, Al-Jouf region, covering a total area of 50,000 square meters. The project aims to help achieve self-sufficiency in red meat and strengthen cooperation with the private sector.

Honey production opportunities in Afif

The ministry has also launched projects for beekeeping and honey production in Afif, Riyadh region, with each project covering a total area of 5,000 square meters. These initiatives are designed to increase local honey production, support the livestock sector, and foster partnerships with the private sector.

The ministry has set November 30, 2026, as the deadline for submitting bids for the projects in both Sakaka and Afif.
