Saudi Arabia Reports 1,432 New Virus Recoveries

Saudi Arabia registered on Monday 1,372 new COVID-19 cases, taking it tally to 299,914.

Saudi Arabia also announced 28 new fatalities from the disease. The new cases reported in the Kingdom increase the total number of people who have contracted the virus to 299,914, health ministry spokesman Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdel Ali also said.

The recent fatalities also raise the Kingdom's virus-related death toll to 3,436. There have been 1,432 recoveries from COVID-19, taking the total number of recoveries to 268,385.

Hofuf with 73 cases topped the list of new COVID-19 infections on Monday.

It was followed by 65 cases in Hail; 64 each in Makkah and Tabuk; 63 in Jazan; 53 in Madinah; 52 in Abu Araish; 45 in Riyadh; 43 in Jeddah; 42 in Dammam; 35 in Hafr Al-Batin; 32 in Buraidah; 31 in Samtah; 29 in Najran; 28 in Yanbu; 27 in Beesh; 25 in Abha; 24 in Sabya; as well as 21 in Al-Harjah.

The rest of the cases were in different cities and governorates across the Kingdom, the spokesman also said.
