Cambridge University Press, which is participating in Riyadh International Book Fair 2021, is the first and oldest publishing house in history and the second largest university press in the world after Oxford University Press.
The representative of the publishing house Basil Al-Far said in 1534 the house began the journey of publishing books and other publications. In 1584, the first edition of the University House was published.
He added that the House includes poetry; political and religious books; articles; research; and scientific curricula; taught at universities and schools.
Al-Far noted that there are more than 100 international universities and schools in the Kingdom that teach these curricula. He pointed out that the House currently provides scientific and IELTS books; where four million students annually take the test through the university's curricula.
